I really would like to get a yellow bag and as suggested by someone on TPF, I'm really considering getting this one:



Does anyone own this? Or seen it in person? The reason I'm still not sure if I should get it is b/c I'm not sure if the yellow is too bright. I actually prefer a pale yellow or a mustardy kind of yellow. What does everyone think? Or should I just go w/ another color entirely like the purple or blue?

I have this bag in the purple. Over a year ago, I bought it, but I have yet to carry it!! No reason why....it's gorgeous and soft. I have some pics of it, but I don't know how to post them.

I just ordered this bag in chalk.

I think if you have your heart set on a yellow bag, you should order the yellow bag. You can always return it if you don't like it.

Hi BabyK....sorry I did not respond right away. I went out and just got home (had a disagreement with my husband!!). Anyway, I tried the copy and paste method, but it did not work. Anyone want to tell me how to do this? The bag is a good size and it's very slouchy. The lining is so pretty. The reason I haven't carried it is that I stopped working when I remarried four years ago and don't go out very much. I mean....I go shopping and to the grocery, and we take trips and cruises. But I have had this really really bad habit of buying these beautiful things and putting them in my closet......then I end up giving them away (usually to my sisters)!!! Kinda stupid, huh? I thought about putting the bags on Ebay and thats why I took the pictures. But then I changed my mind because I don't want to give up my bags. Anyway, I am going to start carrying all my bags....even if it is just to the grocery!! I'll post my pics when I figure out how.

I think you should get the yellow. I haven't seen it IRL but I have the tan one and I love, love, love it. My only complaint is that because the leather is so supple it stains really easily. My bag has several small spots on it even though I always try to be really careful.

Based on the picture, that yellow is so pretty! If you like it, get it. If it's not what you expected, return it. At least this way you won't think about what if you got it.

Hi- I actually have never seen the yellow either- but wanted to tell you I have this bag (in the moss green color) and it is wonderful! I was worried that it would be too big (the measured dimensions are huge!) but ordered it anyway, figuring I could return it if I didn't like it. However, the size is perfect. It is just perfectly slouchy, so it doesn't look too big but it holds tons and tons. The leather is super supple (so huggable!). I get tons of complements on it. I agree with the others- try it and return it if it doesn't meet with your approval. Good luck!

Thanks Luna, that's exactly what I wanted to know. If it's more like a mustard color then I think I would def like it. Now, Bunnyhead said it's leather is so supple that it stain easy. On a yellow bag, it may be obvious, no?

bagachondriac, sound like we have a lot in common. i'm a stay at home mom, so i don't work either. i, too, buy things and not use it. it's crazy that i even want to buy this HH bag since I have a brand new bag I bought recently that I haven't even used yet. but i fell in love w/ it when i saw it online. i do eventually use my bags. so i say keep your babies and carry them to the grocery!

I think the leather is pretty resilient... I'd definitely spray it with a protectant.

It's a great color.. I was actually considering geting one of these or the Nico

Same with me - I have this bag in black, and it is wonderful! I use it all the time...in fact I'm carrying it today. Great size, very comfortable to wear, delicious leather, lightweight, and fits a ton of stuff without looking ginormous. I also love the little details; it's very well made. If you love yellow, get the yellow one!

I love the yellow as well.....actually, I might like it better! Tell you what...you buy the yellow, and if you don't like it..WE"LL TRADE!!! I haven't carried mine yet. Seriously though, this bag would be gorgeous in ANY color.
