Anyone own the Gucci Dionysus Coin Purse?

Hi!
I've seen the Dionysus coin purse online and it is the cutest thing ever! Does anyone own it because i have a couple of questions and can't find anything online! I really just want to know what can you fit in it? It says coin purse but looks more the size of cards, I'm worried putting too many cards and a bit of cash that the coins will fall out and it'll be too full! Is the fastening secure? And do you just use it inside other bags or carry it on its own?

I am also wondering about the coin purse. I saw it recently online. I'd love to know what it looks like on someone as I can't find anything online. It does look super cute though.

I’ve ordered one many days ago but it hasn’t been available yet so I will receive it next week. I try to take some pictures then. Based on the measurements I believe it to be same size as Gucci card holders (those that are more like little wallets with a separate zipped section) or a tad smaller. I plan to use it for a few cards and some cash ( I rarely have any cash nowadays) so it will be just a card holder with chain for me. I think it will be perfect for quick errands, my kids’ hobbies and other sport events when I don’t want to take a purse with me. Lately I’ve experienced these situations when a proper handbag can get in my way or look somewhat out of place. At least this can fit in my pocket and it is very cute.

Too funny... I was just scrolling through this forum for the exact same reason! I’ve loved the look of the Dionysus line forever but don’t need a bag. But I do need a coin purse! And love that it comes with a chain.

Ok, so I received the coin purse today and it is very pretty but it is smaller in size that I expected. However, it is very roomy. I put in nine cards and it could’ve easily fitted many more. I didn’t put any coins in yet because I didn’t want it to get dirty. It has a snap closure that feels secure.

Here are some pictures for sizing reference. Sorry about that I still have the protective cover on the chain. I am not 100 percent sure that I will keep this item (I think I will because it is so iconic design and feels durable but I have a few card / coin holders already.)

My wallet-like Marmont card holder is taller and wider but not much thicker. The Dionysus coin purse is quite thick too so it won’t fit the slimmest of purses. The Dionysus is very similar in width and tallness to the slim Marmont card holder.

Overall, my first impressions about this item are very good. I even like the antique silver detailing even I’ve always preferred gold hardware much more and that’s one thing that has kept me from purchasing a handbag in this line.
