I've been looking for a new wallet and I came across this cute unique/quirky brand called "Hirameki" in a Tokyo department store last week. They run from roughly $120 to $170 USD. Here are some links to pictures below:

I was wondering if anyone knows of other brands that make wallets with the same sort of style? Long, plenty of pockets, nice leather, and most importantly: fanciful/artsy designs on the front? I'm thinking French cafes, picturesque streets.. etc... maybe I'm being too picky here :P

Anyway, I just might buy one of these, they are very pretty! :smile:

Those are beautiful. They'd probably even be big enough to use as a clutch in the evening. Hope you're able to find one, the only thing I can think of is to set up an Etsy account and put in a request for someone to copy this design with you choosing the picture in the front, and putting in a request for aprox. how much you're willing to pay.

Lucretias, those are very cute! i hope Ioet would like these wallets from iconshoes. i also would be suggesting Paul Smith wallets coz they also have cute colorful wallets.

thanks! I saw her wallets and immediately thought of icon. I have been stalking their sales for a wallet from them! paul smith wallets are cute too!

i took it from my trip to Vietnam. those are tricycles adorned w/ colorful flowers particularly used for tourists in one area there (geez, i forgot the name of the place). thanks for liking it. i've been meaning to change it but i always decide not to. :smile::smile:

Thanks for the additional suggests everyone :biggrin: I just saw Icon Shoes and really liked some of their designs.. I just wish they had some pictures of what the inside looks like!

Paul Smith seemed maybe a little too 'bright'.. I think I'm looking for something subdued but pretty

Anyway I went back to the Hirameki store yesterday but decided I am not going to buy one since I want to find a design I won't get sick of right away.. :rolleyes:

I buy one directly from Japan because one of my friend now is there, but it costs about $294(not including the Express delivery:nogood:..

I am crying.. $294..

But I've seen these wallets in person and they really are very nice.. just hope you can get the right price tag for it!

Hey, thank you very much for your information, yes,I have already brought it and I paid the money too, :sad::crybaby::shucks: but maybe it will take some days to reach me.
