Anyone Hear Price Increase News or Dates?

I would like to hear gossip about when Hermes will have their price increase for 2013 in the US....I have to wait until Jan. to purchase my next birkin or kelly and am curious what date will the price go up....especially for croc or gator bags.

same here! it is wishful thinking that H will not increase prices each year.

I think the annual price increase in Jan is a standard in Hermes. It really is a matter of "by how much". Last time was between 7%-10% I think. However my SA said it was different with exotics. The price goes up AND down depending on the supply of the skins.

I remember in the past the leather/croc gets raised first and then other items soon follow like jewelry, home goods, etc. By End of February it's all increased.

I haven't inquired the SAs, but my skin says "yes" to price hike. Looking at the history of the annual raise, why this year will be an exception? Unless there is a big global crisis or a total devastation to the world economy (touch wood), it is very very unlikely H will not call it. From what I've seen it happens somewhere between January and April.

Last year price increase was Feb 9 in the US if I recall correctly.... or Feb 2.... 9%

yes 1x year. CDCs went up once last year.

This! As far as I am aware, the only year Hermes didn't increase was the year of the height of the credit crisis (2007 or 2008, I can't recall exactly on top of my head). Every other year they put the price up in Jan in Europe.

Its one of Hermes great strategy... price increase... fear... we buy more... they do understand women.
