Anyone have the Turnlock Crossgrain tote?

I have this tote, very comfortable on the shoulders. The straps slide down a bit when I wear my winter puff coat though because the coat is so big. They will eventually flop down after about 30 days of wear, so I've taken to propping them up against each other to keep their tall upside down U shape.

The sides do not push in--this is very sturdy and strictly formed leather, so do not get this bag expecting soft wings (in other words, this is not a Crosby).

The zipper was quite scratchy at first when I used to reach my hand in, but now the bag gapes open just a *fraction* when it's stuffed so that I don't get scratched by the zip.

The turnlock area is actually a thin pocket that runs the height from the turnlock down to the bottom of the bag (width of slim pocket is the center area before the "wings" stitching). Essentially, a square, thin pocket. I don't put anything in there besides a parking garage ticket or a quick receipt if my bag is zipped. If you stuff it, the slit pocket will gape open unattractively, I imagine.

I use this daily as a work bag. Very simple lines make this chic. It fits files and a thin 13" laptop nicely. It is not heavily padded, of course, like a true laptop bag. Definitely more significant than open-top totes like the Louis Vuitton Neverfull, obviously.

Highly recommended!

I have this tote in black embossed and black cherry. I just love it! I put my cell in the turnlock pocket so I can reach it easily. Great travel and work bag--very sturdy. If it had feet, it would be perfect! Attached a photo for you.

Beautiful! I was eyeing the exact same bag, but think the shoulder straps may be a bit too thin for me. The feather makes a nice complement!
