Anyone have this bag? Does it hold up well? I'm thinking I might get this one as it keeps whispering to me and I think the only way to get it to be quiet is to just order it. It's half-off right now too.

I'm a little concerned (only a little mind you) that it is too youthful for me since I'm over 50 and the hearts are very young. But on the other hand, I never cared about what other people think before, so why start now? The heart chain is a BIG part of what I love about this.

It is very different from what I usually wear. I typically go for less "cuteness" in my outfits, but for some reason this one is just calling to me.

Be honest with me, will it look fun and lively, or just like a mid-life crisis? lol!

I would prefer it without the chain, not because of the hearts ( I love hearts) but it looks a bit busy especially with the pattern on the bag.
However, your leather jacket is lovely!

Oh that's not me, that's the model from the Coach website (sorry, I should have posted that and made it clear). It IS a great jacket though!! I love the contrast between the "sweet" bag and the "tough" jacket.

I like that the hearts come off to give the bag a more work-friendly look. I do think they're cute for weekend wear.

I just went through my closet and looked at my clothes. I found at least half a dozen outfits that the pink one would be cute with. Mostly casual but with a little flair.

I really like the red version too, but I have so little that I would pair with a bright red. It's funny because I swear last winter I was thinking I "needed" a bright red bag (I have a couple of dark red / burgundy already), but I can't for the life of me remember what I thought I was going to wear it with.

The website says it leather but it looks online like puffy fabric. I would not want it if it isn't leather. I think I'll go to the store tomorrow to see if they have these bags in stock so I can see the colors, size, and materials in person.

That's a great idea, let us know how they look in person!

If you love it, quite often that's enough to instinctively know that it would suit you.

Wear what you like, why not?! It's how you feel that counts and if this lovely pink bag suits you and makes you happy when you try it on, that's all you need to know!

I have two Mira bags - smooth leather in Grey Blue, and the quilted in black with black hardware. Relevant to your discussion, I also have the Cassie 19 in Petunia with the same heart link leather strap as the Mira you're considering.

I love my Miras, the style sits so nicely against my hip crossbody, and it's the perfect size for me. I also love my Cassie 19, but for me, the heart strap is too short and too lumpy/uncomfortable to wear on the shoulder - I use it as a decoration on the bag only. I let it hang down while carrying it crossbody, and I also have some silver strap extenders that I use with the leather shoulder strap and that works well with the heart chain hanging down as well.

For the record, I'm also over 50, and give zero you know what's if anyone thinks something is "too young" for me or otherwise unfashionable. :)

Thank you so much for sharing your experience! It's good to hear that you like it well enough that you have 2 of them!

I picture myself wearing the heart chain exactly as you describe, as decoration only. Maybe in the winter with bulkier sweaters, it might not be as uncomfortable, but I imagine the regular strap must be much more comfortable.

So, I went to the store today but they didn't have either color (sport red or the petunia) in any style of bag. They did have the Mira in black however, so I was at least able to see the size.

I've ordered the pink one from the website. While I do think I would like the bright red color, I have fewer outfits that I would wear with it, AND for me, red + hearts = Valentine's day which isn't the look I'm going for.

I'm excited to get my new bag and see what it looks like in person! :)
