Anyone have experience with Dr. Cho Bae Jung from Koko?

I tried to look for some threads on here but they all seem to have fizzled out. As of now, Dr. Cho might be my top choice but I don't know anyone that has gotten rib revision rhinoplasty, let alone rhinoplasty at all from him. I'm looking for smaller clinics where it's just 1-2 surgeons who perform the surgeries, not the huge hospitals that have a million surgeons since I've had a bad experience with my previous rhinoplasty from one of the big names. More specifically, I'm looking for a skilled revision/reconstruction surgeon who uses rib. The reason I was looking into Dr. Cho is because he's one of the few in Korea that uses rib and he seems to have a lot of experience with revisions. A great plus is that he does this procedure where he, in a sense, "lowers the nostrils" but what the surgeon does is use ear cartilage to add onto the nostril, lessening how much it shows (for short piggy noses). It's strange that not all surgeons know how to do this. They say it's a different kind of skill that only a few surgeons know how to do, which is why some people may have beautiful shaped noses but their nostrils still show. The one interesting thing about Dr. Cho is that he uses some kind of combination of rib cartilage but also bone (!!!) for the dorsal bridge because cartilage (both solid and DCF) can warp. Thoughts?

I consulted Dr Cho few days ago and what he told me was quite different from what other doctors said. I'm kinda confused.
May I know did you do your rhinoplasty with Dr Cho?

I haven't - I didn't go to Korea yet. Did you do a consultation in Korea or virtually? What did he say that was different from other surgeons? Also, when I kakao-ed him, apparently he doesn't have a anesthesiologist to do the IV sedation. For me, it's a huge deal breaker so I may not even get a consultation from him in person

I am inserting myself here because I am also curious about his works. I want to get a revision to lower my radix and I saw that he has also of good before and after picture of silicone removals.

hi, you can consult with one of his assistants via kakaotalk. Website is: kodoctor.kr

They quoted me 9M won in total. 6.5M for the procedure alone and then some add-ons (donated rib) and septoplasty because my nose is deviated.

I contacted them via kakao late 2020. I like his work with revisions (they're more natural rather than the tinkerbell kind of look) but he uses autologous cartilage and bone. It might be a great technique but not sure how I feel about that. Will have to do a consultation in person, hopefully sometime this year

thanks for the information. I couldn't find koko plastic surgery at kakaotalk. I have sent email to KOKO website and request for consultation but no response yet.

Wondering if anyone here has gotten consultation at Koko yet?

I haven't gotten an official in-person consultation, but I did send them a Kakao this year and last year. I think they use some kind of cow tissue or rib cartilage with bone for the bridge. I'm not familiar with either so I'm debating whether I should go in for a consultation
