Anyone have any suggestions as to what I do next?

I sent Rebag my squeeze bag, with everything including the box. The bag is in excellent condition. They received the bag, according to Fedex on 11-11. They didn't pay me, so on Friday 11-22 I sent an email stating that I wanted my bag returned to me. I was sent an email the following Tuesday stating that my back would be returned within 7 days. When that went by without any bag, I sent an email and was told the bag would be sent out by last Friday the 6th. That date has come and gone, not bag, and now I've sent 3 emails to rebag that have gone unanswered. No tracking info, no indication that it's been sent. What do I do now? Rebag has my 5k Loewe bag. Any suggestions?

I posted this on the Loewe subform.. I am having a problem with Rebag. I sent a 5k Loewe squeeze bag to be sold. The timeline is this on 11-11 Fedex shows it has been delivered. 11-18 I get an email saying they have the bag. 11-22 I ask them to return it. I have sent the box, paperwork from the Costa Mesa boutique, the bag that is excellent shape, the extra chain and the 2 sleeper bags. I receive an email on 11-25 saying it will be returned to me within 7 days. I am told on 12-2 it will be shipped by 12-6. That is when they stopped responding to emails. What do I do now? Thanks for your help.

Since they've clearly admitted and agreed to having received it and since they're the sender who's supposed to be returning it to you, I'd contact them again with the dates of communication and dates of their promises to send it back.

Tell them you want the tracking number and if they can't provide it or if they lost your bag after admitting that it was in their possession, they are responsible for making you whole. Threaten a small claims lawsuit.

Many jurisdictions are still offering virtual/zoom cases but it may not come to that if you point out that this is their responsibility since the bag is/was in their custody.

Thank you for your suggestions. I was also told by a friend, who is an attorney, to call them, and tell them if I don't have tracking number in 24 hours, and that if everything isn't included, a police report will be filed, quickly followed by a small claims dispute. In Texas they can be liable for 3x the costs, plus my court costs. I also filled a complaint with the NY attorney general's office, and the Texas Attorney General's office. The friend said I have a solid case with their emails, and my pictures.

I had not realized that the company had become this way. I haven't dealt with them except to purchase in years. I would like to be able to warn anyone to be careful when dealing with them. After this, I won't even open their ap again.
