Anyone had their car shipped before?

Do a search on this, there was a thread posted before and I responded to it with info on the company I used a couple of years ago.

I had my car shipped and company paid. But the shipping company drove my car, heavy loaded and broke the shock absorber. I knew they did it but I didn't have mileage number to prove. Record your mileage before you give them your car. I would drive if possible. It's only 16 hours with no break. You might need snow tires in winter months. It's beautiful in Shasta mountain but dangerous.
