I saw the add in the Evening Standard last night and it quite clearly stated that the sale is for RTW, Shoes and Tablewear. Presumably this means that there will be no scarves or leather. I have never been to an H sale and was all geared up to go, but am not so sure now. For those of you who have been to the London sale before, is it really worth it - do they have other items than those in the advert? Thanks.

I was sent a card about the sale from H last week and it said the same thing. ClassicTwist went last year and said it was just RTW, shoes and china. I will be in London anyway tomorrow so will have a look, hopefully it won't be crazy busy

Thanks Mooks, I probably shan't bother in that case. Hubby already mutters about Imelda Marcos with regard to my shoes, so don't need more temptation - especially as I have just bought yet another pair of Georgina Goodman shoes :happydance:

I didn't bother as there would need to be scarves or leathergoods to tempt me. Well done on the gloves though Mooks, leather or cashmere? What colour are they? You can't get away without telling us you know!

Did anyone go? I did.....nothing exciting to report on although I did get some gloves for £93 which seems like a good deal

I went Thursday morning. I bit manic!! Found 2 pairs of shoes and a lovely pair of evening trousers. Won't go back though the athmosphere is less than dignified!!:smile1:

Sounds good Jane, I know what you mean about sale shopping though - you need sharp elbows usually :yucky: I have been thinking about Eurostarring to the next one in Paris though :graucho:
