Oprah named her the Britney Spears of the middle east.

Nancy Ajram is her name. She recently did a concert in the Netherlands wich I ofcourse attended.

She recently released a brand new album, and this are some songs on it:

Fi Haggat (Video Clip) - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jnOfkb4YIPI
And a very arab-soundish song:As3ad Allah Masak - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oOlGnZtS2d0

What do you think of the music? And did you hear of her before?

I've never heard of her, but she's very pretty, and I like her song from the youtube video you posted, even though I can't understand what she's saying lol. I'm having my boyfriend listen to it now so I can know what the video is about :P

I first heard of her about four years ago. I was taking a 12-week beginner bellydance class, and the instructor taught us a bit of choreography to "Oul tani eh." That's the only song I know of hers.

Yeah, I speak arabic and know about most of the arab celebrities and singers.

I like Nancy's style now, she's more "pretty" and young looking but back when she started she was made to look like an older woman IMO with the rock n' roll look.

My fav songs by her are ya salam, yay, ana yalli, and newer are Men dali nseek, mashi hadi and salimooni 'ali.

Khaleeji songs are my favs, and I'm a fan of Myriam fares too, mostly the songs. Elissa too, she's talented!

Think it's a shame that there is so much plastic surgery in the ME though and I'm not a fan of Haifa at all.

OMG...Nancy Ajram is my favourite singer in the Arab World, though Im not a big fan of Arabic music at all. Her songs are really fun and danceable
Many of my friends say i look like her, thats why she is my avatar picture
