  1. My parents are selling their house and are getting rid of some furniture and wanted to sell it. I've sold furniture for them before over ebay, but it's always been pick up. I just thought it'd be worth asking...has anyone here ever shipped anything heavy or large like furniture with freight shipping before? Any suggestions on what services to use or whether it'd even be worth it?

  4. I will be happy to help you, however, this is what I would say, if you check on ebay for furniture/heavy/large items, seller would prefer for pick up items, it's simply because the freight cost will definetely turn off the buyers. I wanted to buy furniture on ebay last year and I asked sellers for shipping quotes and the quotes always come back too much for me (couple hundred dollars) which I don't think any buyers will want to spend that much on shipping.
