Anyone else is excited with GAP Artist Edition T's?

I really am excited for these t-shirts. Gap is doing a collaboration with these well-known contemporary artists who take parts in the Whitney Biennial.

I love the tees by Chuck Close, Jeff Koons and Kiki Smith. They go on sale today.
Are you a fan?

I checked these out after reading your post - love them!! I can't decide which is my fav but I'm leaning toward Kenny Scharf since I'm a big "pop-art" fan. I guess I'll decide soon since theyre limited edition Thanks so much for the post!

They are just alright for me. But I have to say I especially don't like that one that is second to last on the bottom. It looks like someone threw a big cowpie at it!!

I only see 6 shirts listed on the website now. Were there more and they are sold out already? Or have the other ones not been released yet?

I think those 6 are the only ones available online. If you click on the pictures on the Gap homepage, they lead you to all the artists' names and shirts.

The others must be sold out because when I checked earlier there were 8 different shirts available online.

I think The Chuck Close, Jeff Koons, and Kiki Smith tees are sold out. I was gonna order the Jeff Koons one the other day and it's gone by the end of the day.

I was very excited of seeing Jeremy Piven in the 2006 campaing

I went to the Michigan Avenue Gap in Chicago, and was told that only 3 stores--NYC, Chicago and San Francisco--received the shirts. Jeff Koons' sold out on the first day! ='(

The Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago also had some of the shirts, for some reason.
