Anyone else get banned from or lectured at an outlet?

I agree with sweetmelissa that it certainly does happen and often too. There are dozens of resellers on eBay whose entire stock is outlet merchandise. Oh, and the word you were looking for is ludicrous. Ludacris is a rap artist.

Aaaghh! Thank you! I thought that spelling was incorrect and yet I did it anyway. Boo for me! And I'm supposed to be an English major, gah!

this is getting dirty....just be and let be! if someone wnats to resell, more power to them, thats was commercialism is all about, and thats why america is so great! opportunites to make money are avaible everywhere as long as you work for it....they arnt stealing the items or selling FAKES...so whats so wrong in it?

If i own a convience store and buy a box of skippy peanut butter and then sell it to the public am i in the wrong???? didnt think so!!

but anyways i think we are OFF TOPIC...the OP was just asking if the same thing has happened to anyone  and seriously if your into shopping for other people and buying all your xmas presents or just stocking up you can EASILY spend 5 or 6 grand...i know ive been guilty of it!!

I shop in the coach outlet in Vegas...I haven't bought a lot though. Its always REALLY crowded and they can't sem to keep the shelves stocked as people keep clearing them and buying tons of stuff. Its a little tough to have a civilized shopping experience in that store.

The imagined senario of an ebay seller going into Coach an buying up all of one same item is ludacris. No one would do that. You can't even go into walmart and buy more than one of the same item on certain things. This topic has gone way off course. Oh well. :wtf:

Actually as others said it does happen. I was at the Gilroy outlets today and a woman grabbed up 4 of the Gallery totes and went straight to the line before the SA told her there was a limit. She was very rude and ended up not buying anything.

I agree. But, the coach prices in the overseas market are twice to three times the prices here. And, they are slightly behind in changing seasons too. So, the outlet items can be bought and sold overseas for 1.5 times the retail. I once saw an asian woman ring up $10,000 worth of outlet items. 19 shopping bags total. I imagined these bags will be sold overseas.

Wow! That's CRAZY!!!! i would be giving her dirty mean looks too! Geez! I never knew that about overseas Coach either! i didnt even think Coach was that popular internationally!

I've never been lectured or anything, but I just recently found out you can only buy up to three of each item at our Waikele outlet. I had called in asking if they had the toucan keyfob left and when they said yes I asked how many they had left. Instead of telling me how many they had left, she said I can only buy a max of three. I told her I only wanted one but wanted to know how many were left because 1. I like selection and 2. I didn't want to risk having them run out before I got there.

LOL I thought it was just me. I was visited that outlet a few months ago and it was CHAOS in there...OMG!!! It was so bad that there was a long line outside with a SA letting folks in one at a time every few minutes or so. This outlet is north of the strip in that outdoor mall. There are two others in the Vegas area that arent as crazy. lol.

Back on topic..I've never be lectured/banned at an outlet. I dont buy enough for that unfortunately
