Would anyone here agree that the longchamp lepliage is a great alternative to the LV canvas bags but without being obvious dupes. You can substitute an LV canvas with those bags but they won’t remind you those bags you want and might not get.

For example the obvious one the large and medium with long handles are good alternatives to the never full.
The small with short handles is a good alternative to the speedy 25 without the strap, though the small energy has the strap.

Then we have the XS which all have strap and are a great substitute to the speedy 20, Alma BB or the new mini never full.
Now longchamp also has a coated canvas version of the lepliage called the city line which ironically reminds me more to the epi leather even though it’s coated Canvas.

So what do you guys do you think those lepliage bags are good alternatives to Louis Vuitton without looking like blatant dupes.

You are absolutely correct in comparison these two bags are similar

I agree with you when it comes to the purpose of these bags 😀 your comparisons are spot on.
However the looks are very different so I personally don’t think they replace each other.
Excited to hear more opinions!

Yeah I did the comparison by function, the bags I compared look crazy different but for people who are into alternatives instead of dupes then I gave good suggestions. lol 🤣

Alternatives and dupes are different terms many use them as synonymous but it’s a different thing.

An alternative gives you the functionality and porpoise of that high end bag you want but can look completely different.

For example the Tory Burch Keira is a legal dupe to the YSL Lou Lou bag but Zadig and Voltaire moonrock it’s an alternative.

The Keira looks very similar including the shape of the bag to the loulou but the Zadig has that functionality without look the same.

The Zadig Moonrock and the small Saint Laurent Loulou are bags that can be casual or dressy and have that glamorous rock star look but they look completely different.
Starting with different shape and leather treatment and type but at the end you have the same vibe of the Lou Lou with the Zadig.

So I hope I made my self clear on the big difference of a dupe and alternative
