Vixy just answered your question.....ladies are going for bigger watches nowdays (she wants a Panerai that STARTS at 40mm, most are 44mm big)......

thats the style.....no longer a trend......

Such an old thread! I ended up getting the love bangle, the patek and I am still thinking about the breitling one!! I actually tried it on last year, but the orange was too bright for me, so will find time to try it on again in a dark brown strap or maybe a black strap!

I think it was around £3k or so. I remember they did not have the actual watch in the UK, but what I did was contact the head office which was based in London and they sent the watch to watches of swiss in Piccadilly for me to inspect. I didnt get it because against my skin the watch strap looked odd. It is a lovely watch.
If you google it, you will see lots of watch companies selling the watch.

Breitling watches are nice, but I would go for something less main-stream-consumer. Let me clarify that there is nothing wrong with main-stream-consumer but how about a Panerai 48 or 49???? Something totally different, and the Panerai watches have significantly increased in value year after year.

I think a Pam can be worn with a dress, but I would not wear one with an evening gown. lol.

I am a guy, but I have several Breitling watches. I too have done all of the common luxury watches, a few exotics.. but I think Breitling produces a great watch.

I purchased one for my Mother last Christmas. She wears it when she gardens, that thing has taken a beating and it still looks brand new! I have my watches serviced every 2 years and I have been impressed with their turn around time. They are also very accommodating when it comes to replacement parts, watch bracelets, etc.

I am also very impressed with the quality of materials that they use for standard, out of the case pieces. The diamonds that they use are some of the finest available.

I would highly recommend Breitling for all of the above reasons.
