Volkswagen Group has not said how many vehicles are on the Felicity Ace or the breakdown of the models, although it has been reported they included 2022 Porsche Boxster Spyders as well as Audis, Bentleys and Lamborghinis.

The salvage crew working on the burning Felicity Ace ship now say electric-vehicle batteries are part of the reason it is still aflame after several days, the Wall Street Journal is reporting.

That's terrible! There's already a shortage around me for cars, my dealer's lot is relatively empty.

Picked up a car yesterday and my dealer had 8 Bentleys on the ship, and 20 Porsches. All ordered and deposits paid for customers that waited months for their cars. What a mess.

I was hoping some could be salvaged with just smoke damage or other things that could be repaired. But ... ummm ... guess not......
