Just moved to England

Ideally a pair of really dainty drop earrings with a bit of diamond sparkle

For example I really liked this brand, but looking for half the price, and am happy with half the diamonds

No wonder you’re looking for cheaper options. Whilst Boodles is renowned for their amazing jewellery (and the fact that there have been multiple attempted robberies, even a ram raid!), they’re also known for their rather expensive pricing. I no longer live in England so I can’t help you, but good luck, I really hope you find what you’re looking for!

Just throwing this out there, but how about Carolina Bucci? She's from a jewelry making family from Florence, Italy, and owns a hot boutique in London. Her 18k gold pieces have a signature Florentine Finish achieved by beating each piece with a diamond tipped tool, which leaves permanent faceted dents in the gold. Not diamonds, but VERY sparkly.

Her jewelry is expensive and over-priced, admittedly. But on the lower end, you could get these 18k gold huggy earrings in round (£580) or oval (£530) shape. I own the round huggies in white gold, along with three other Carolina Bucci pieces, and I'm very happy with them. I'm from the U.S., not the U.K., fyi.
