Any suggestions on present for MOH?

I am planning my wedding now and I would like to get a gift for my Maid of Honor. She is also my best friend, so my budget is between $250 - $500.

I am thinking of getting one of the silver bracelet/necklace from Tiffany & Co, but not sure if this is the best option. She doesn't wear a lot of jewelry to start, so nothing too loud for her.

Any ideas?

I just got married on Oct 1st and we gave our MOH the Paloma Picasso bead bracelet in moonstone. It was something she could wear for the wedding (dark charcoal dress) and with just about anything else in the future.

I have a Elsa peretti letter pendant, that I love and wear everyday. I've given them as gifts and they are always well received.

I gave my MOH (my sister) a black Tahitian pearl pendant from Museum Way Pearls. I found a coupon online and it was around $260- she wears it all the time.

And I have been in a few weddings in the past few years and my favorite gifts that I received as were:

- A set of stack rings with my birthstone and a few other gemstones
- Also- an elsa peretti initial necklace (I know Princessbli said that too-great gift!)
and this was really cool-
Last year I was in a wedding and the bride gave everyone Ray Ban aviators. Those may not have the sentimental impact of the other gifts but I wear mine all the time.

I bought my MOH a Jay Strongwater piece. She's is all over my collection, spend hours looking at it, holding the stuff, examining it, etc. It was not something she'd buy for herself - thinks its out of her budget. I took her & let her pick out a piece. (She has tons of jewelry.) 11 years later she still talks about how that piece has such special memories. (She owns tons of jewelery.)
I spent in your budget range. She was & still is my BFF for 30+years.
