Any SS19 Pieces Going to Make Their Way Into Your Wardrobe?

Loving the hats and the all-black 'stealth' Mickey Mouse bag. Hard to see the shoes but I'm always hopeful.

AM's muses were Dolly Parton and Janice Joplin. While I absolutely adore both women's contribution ad huge influence to pop/country/rock music I'm not sure I want to dress like either. Not feeling the love for the continuing production of the really chunky sneakers and I don't usually mind a robust shoe. Jock straps! Shiny leotards on men? Wasn't even a good idea when I wore foil American Apparel 12 years ago for clubbing (do ay of remember them?). OT but just saying, loving the wearability and glam simplicity of Vaccarello for Saint Laurant SS19 too.

I think the hats are all very pretty. I don’t have anywhere to wear them, but I like them. The sneakers don’t bother me. In fact I love the pair with bees from this season. I’m a runner though, so I’m used to chunky shoes. However, I would never wear sneakers with a python slip dress. That looks ridiculous.

Some of the shoes (the last one above for example) look promising. I would have to see more detailed shots, but not particularly attracted to any of the bags. My last favorite Gucci runway in a while... Maybe Michele fatigue, but I found it rather uninspiring...

I think we have begun to have 'seen it all before'. It doesn't surprise me that it's hard to tell one season from another, even a Winter V Summer.

I liked that scarf-hat 'thing' from this season and I quite like the print but like the turbans for SS19. We can make these from knits and scarves we already have. If you buy/knit a kitted tube (snood) or faceless balaclava (army shop) just fold a square scarf into a triangle and either tuck around the face or fold the kit back to hold the scarf into place. The model has hers pined at the front so the 'tails' cover her neck, but you could just tie-it or leave it open.I wanted a balaclava from this season but I don't want a sports emblem on mine because I have o clue who these teams are LOL.

I'm a runner too and will admit I've worn sneakers/trainers out this Summer but like the AW18 monster sneakers (heavy Flashtrecks), for SS19 these are too stumpy-looking with the green sole.

I prefer the Gucci Ace for walking around. I wouldn’t wear something as bulky as the monster sneakers unless I were hiking. I am not fond of the green sole and green is actually my favorite color.

OK so direct from the runway I really like the denim jacket he did...it has four front pockets, slightly boxy...I like that just as it is. As far as prints go...he did a few pieces with a maroon GG print and i'm hoping as they usually do...that they come up with some wearable items utilizing that print. I also really liked the vivid shiny purple fabrics they used and i'm hoping they also come out with something utilizing that fabric in some more wearable items!

Mine too, but the thick coloured sole just chops the leg. The Aces are ol' skool cool and sweet ad I am ot adverse to chunky shoes./heels but these SS19 green soled sneakers/trainers manage to make tall, slim models looks squat, I personally know not to go near.

That sounds great, plus, cant beat a bit of shiny purple for Glam Hope it comes true for you

I really like the styling of the 'chucked on' close-colours (photos 6 & 8 above). I know lots of people would rather die than wear more than one shade of red or brown though.

Not happy. Micky looks like plastic/rubber (what do you think?). So much for Gucci's Earth conscious eco promises! Nylon faux fur too, huge environmental footprint.

Happy about the double-chain yellow (or beige) croc (second-to-last pic) because I have the 'grandmother' of this model of bag in green croc already.
