Hello ladies!

Today I went to my local jewelers to inquire about resetting my stone. I fell head over heels in LOVE with the Simon G NR109 setting. It will be a little bit before we can purchase it as we have wedding expenses that are priority at the moment, but I will have it on my finger before our wedding this November! In the mean time I was hoping to see some Simon G "Ring Porn" to try to keep me patient! If anyone is willing to contribute I would really love to see your rings! Thank you

I don't have a Simon G ring, but last summer I posted about a Simon G diamond station necklace. Everyone who was familiar with Simon G had very nice things to say about the brand. I think some ladies even had rings, but no pictures were posted. With that said, I LOVE my necklace. I think it was a bit overpriced, but it's unique and I wear it everyday!

I love simon G's designs. the quality is great as well. I don't own any pieces but I drool over their bracelets! there's a tanzanite ring that I always stare at when I visit a client that carries the line

BAGWANNABE - I agree, they are pretty overpriced! Luckily though my stone can fit in the one my jeweler has in the case so they're going to sell that one to me. It's about $1,500 less than the starting out price of that setting today since they have had it before the last few gold price increases. Score! :yahoo:

Okay here are a couple of pictures of mine--I've worn it almost daily for 9 years and haven't taken any pics of it!

I had to look up the specs: the engagement ring has a .58 carat round, each pear is .24 and the baguettes are .13 total, I believe. Shoot, and looking it, I didn't capture the two tiny diamonds on the top and bottom of the center stone--also it has pretty gold scroll work...may have to take some more pics!!

For our 10th anniversary (next year), I am going to upgrade the diamond to probably 1.0 to 1.25 carat, the shape stone I haven't yet decided on--cushion? asscher? round? So many choices!

I am quite attached to the setting and wouldn't trade it for any other.

The rings have beautiful milgrain detailing, but I couldn't capture that with the camera. Please post pics of yours OP when you get them!!

Your ring set is so pretty! I love the pear side stones! As for your upgrade I'd definitely suggest going as big as you can afford because I have a 1.25 round myself and I get "shrinkage syndrome" quite often lol! Hopefully it'll stop after my reset though. :-P

Thank you for sharing!

Thank you for your kind comments!

Lol I know what you mean about the "shrinkage" factor! I just upgraded my diamond stud earrings from about 1/2 carat total weight to 1.25 carats total weight last summer and already they feel so small! :P
