Any Reissue 227 (Maxi) lovers out there?

Hi! I just purchased a reissue 227 in chevron sheepskin preloved. I’ve owned the 226 briefly but returned. I have a mini reissue and a reissue waist bag. I’ve also owned multiple classic flaps so I have an idea of how much it will fit, etc…Curious if anyone is still loving their 227s? I’m 5’6 and about 125lbs. I plan on mainly wearing it doubled on my shoulder. Modeling pics would also be amazing if anyone has them!

My first Chanel was a 227. Mine is kind of unusual - black caviar with RHW and Bijou chain. I find this more equivalent to Jumbo size. I absolutely love it and have no regrets!

I have a 228 reissue in metallic blue. LOVE it . It is huge and carries everything. It is also very very resistant to wear and tear.

I prefer the 227 to the jumbo classic flap on me, something about the way it lays I just think it looks more like it's supposed to be that large while a caviar jumbo CF looks so oversized to me... I have a 227 but my flaps are only M/L and smaller.

Now that you mention this, I have noticed it as well. Perhaps part of the reason that the Jumbo looks bigger to me is the structure of Classic flaps. My Reissue is single flap, and, being a Reissue, doesn’t have that boxier CF look.

I have sold my 227 due to pregnancy and move to smaller bag. Now my reissue is the mini size. But honestly I regret my decision. I have sold my jumbo and maxi for the same reason. I enjoy small bag but sometimes I miss having bigger space so I don’t have to play tetris all the time. Mini bags are sometimes challenging to get in/out stuff especially when I am in a hurry.
Anyway I prefer 227 than jumbo or maxi because it’s much lighter and can fit the same amount.

Just follow your heart.. If you don’t love it anymore, just sell and move on. Don’t be like me, having too much regrets.. lol..
