I'm scrolling through thread after thread and I see no love for the pits! This is my Lola baby. She is my first child. So sensitive, sweet and gentle. Anyone else have a pit bull "baby"?!

I have known some really sweet ones. With dogs I don't know, though, I am wary, which is good with any breed or mix breed, I guess.

She looks like a lovebug:smile:

Me me me me me!!!

I have an almost 3 year old Pitbull X named Stella.
I will never own another type of dog. I just adore them.

She is a total love bug, and loves people and dogs alike. (Although she is a total bossyboots and a bit of a diva, her personality can sometimes rub other dogs the wrong way, so I do have to be careful with her around other dogs that are very dominant, but she's never aggressive, just a bit IN-YO-FACE sometimes.)

I love her, and one day when my DBF and I buy a place with a nice big yard, we fully plan on getting another Pit or two.

Here's Stella's model pose on the beach, her as an itty bitty baby, and her in her favorite place, my bed!

Thanks everyone! She really is a love bug! I love her like my own flesh and blood child! I understand the wariness. i just think a dog reflects there owner more than there breed. I grew up with dobermans and have always been partial to bigger dogs, but the temperament and personality of pittys is a perfect fit for my fam! Thanks for letting me share my sweet girl

Omg Stella is beautiful!!! I just lover her little face. Her expressions remind me of my Lola girl! I'm a sucker for the brindle as well  I wish we could have a dozen pits, okay maybe not that many! But a few more for sure. Unfortunately, Lola had a tplo surgery in August of 2011. She had bilateral partial ligament tears in her knees and had to have her left leg broken and realigned with a metal plate and about a dozen screws :mypoorbaby: She turned three in October and the worst of the recovery is over. To make a long story short, she has to be really restricted with play and we can't have another dog her size that could jeopardize her surgery. She swims about an hour a day 5 days a week about 6 months out of the year and the rehab has worked so well that we might not have to put her through fixing the other leg (because the whole ordeal was horrific for everyone involved!). So she will be one spoiled puppy for the rest of her days! More photos huh?! Okay, twist my arm!

Lola is a big baby. She's all in our companies face wanting love and pets, but when it comes to another dog she fully submits every time. She had one puppy friend before her injuries, that she played with all the time and it took months before she stopped letting him be the boss all the time. I agree though, I could never have another type of dog! A few more "oldies" Again, thanks for letting me gloat and share my pitty pride  Lets see some more of Stella too!!!

Her eyes just have that sweet look. She obviously adores the family.

I'm the one who said I'm wary with dogs I don't know and I didn't mean just bully breeds (after all we have had boxers and many are afraid of them). It's wise to be careful around any dog you aren't familiar with. The only time I was badly bitten was by a Chow when I was a child. I have met the sweetest Rotties, Dobies, etc. so it's not good to generalize about any breed. Just wanted to get that out. I love all animals. Lived on a farm for a few years growing up--I was in heaven!

Your furbaby looks so happy and loved.
