Because I like those old, leather satchels. With some good wear patina.
But never owned one.

I like those too, but I actually meant "old school", like for example Rebecca Minkoff bags from '06, '07 , bags from approximately that time frame.

I'd say my Mulberry Roxanne is pretty old school... she's a little battered but still lovely

I've got a Mulberry Roxanne tote in Oak that I use occasionally. The patina is gorgeous.

The bags from 2006, 07, 08 etc, the quality was better than bags I see today. I have a handful from '08 & '09 that still look great.
