Any good anti frizz/Anit Poof hair care stuff for girls with wavy thick hair?

Heyyy

Basically I have REALLY thick, wavy hair.......its dry and when i air dry it (cause when i blowdry/straghten it, its frys and drys out my hair and takes forever)


Do you guys have any recommendations for a good anti frizz/poof thing on the markett?

And maybe a conditioner?

Also, what is thermal straightning? Who should have it done, and what does it do to your hair??

I use cheap products LOL. Pantene's clarifying shampoo, followed by Aussie's 3 Minute Miracle deep conditioner. Then, depending on how much hold I want, I either use Aussie's mousse or Anti-frizz + Leave-in conditioner.

Works really well for my frizzies. Since I wash every other day, the days I don't wash it I use Frederik Fekkai's Glossing Cream to keep the frizz at bay.

As for thermal straightening.. I think it's some kind of permanent that's supposed to make your hair really straight and smooth. I'm not too keen on it, so let's hear it from the rest of the ladies!

is your hair really curly, or kind of thick, coarse and really wavy?
My hair is normal, very thick and wavy and I bought a new blowdryer from Sephora and it changed my life! LOL!
That's cheesy but honestly, it really kind of did.
Before when I'd blow dry my hair would get really puffy and swollen looking but the new one promised not to do that and it was true!

when I use this my hair isn't puffy and is almost straight, I finish it off w/ the now infamous GHD straightener:

my hair seems to be similar to yours.

when i straighten it i use frizz ease straightening conditioner, frizz ease serum (thermal protect), and before i got the ghd straightener i used frizz ease downplay--its a volume reducer. but w/ the ghd i don't need that.

when i style it wavy/curly i use frizz ease serum and frizz ease miracle curls--it makes my waves pretty curly!!

i guess im a fan of john freida and frizz ease!!

yes, all the serums are almost equal IMO, John Friedas works well too, gals w/ hair like us just HAVE to use one, any one!

I use Pantene hydrating curls conditioner, and Curls Rock Curl Booster after I wash my hair. Controls the frizzies pretty well.

It seems that I am one of the few people who hated Frizz Ease

Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum is great for when you want to straighten your hair. Garnier Fructese (sp?) hard curl range is great for curly hair.

To battle frizzies I use Phytodefrisiant on wet hair before I blow dry and then Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum after I straighten it. So far it's worked pretty well!

I started using Ojon products on my hair and it's never had better texture. I also like Frederic Fekkai Glossing Cream. I alternate between cheaper and expensive products, so sometimes I just get drugstore serums. They can do the trick. John Frieda is a good one, and I also like Citre Shine. For styling, I always combine a serum or gloss cream with a hair gel for maximum frizz fighting!

I use Schwarzkopf's "got to be" in Tipsy, cheap, good and mildly lychee-scented, on my chemically-straightened (rebonded) hair. Otherwise I have semi-wavy hair which is the pits. I mean straight or wavy is fine, both together makes a horrid frizzy combo

Before getting professional straightening I used to straighten it at home. I think thermal straightening refers to DIY kits where you heat up tongs to style your hair, but becomes a tad too troublesome when you do it more than twice a week. I may be wrong.
