Any experiences with Portero.com auctions?

I read an article that was linked up in another post and it was mentioning Portero.com the luxury auction site. I checked it out and they have a BV Cervo Cocker that I am in love with but I have never heard of them until now. Shipping looks a little steep as well. Just wondering if anyone has had any experiences with them before?

ive delt with their cust serv before but never actually purchased as they didnt have EXACTLY what i wanted and im picky but i can only say nice things about them.

I have never dealt with them, but the Washington Post did an article about them several months ago, focusing on their efforts to authenticate everything they have on their site. You might still be able to find it on the Post site archives.

I purchased some clothes from them and they were authentic Prada, if that helps! But have never bought a bag from them, although I would feel comfortable doing so. I believe they also have a return policy? But I am not sure about that.
