Any every downsize?

Anyone ever downsize their bag collection to one to three bags. Not for financial reasons. Just for the sake of simplifying.

Many times, but that was back before I started buying designer bags. Now my collection just seems to keep growing.....

I did that. I decided that I don't like having so many expensive bags just sitting in my closet.. It feels so much freer now..

Yes, I've done exactly that. It feels great! I only keep bags I actually wear on a regular basis.

I am open to all brands, whether high end or not so I have a huge collection.
I would like to downsize too. I gave a few of them to friends but I can't sell.
Too complicated. So I am trying to use them all....
To tell you the truth, I think we don't need to own more than 3 or 4. But I have loved bags since I was a kid and can't stop collecting...

This is exactly what I have been doing and I feel so much better for it! My ideal collection would be two bags for 'better' or special occasions (already have my Chanel flap but want to add a YSL clutch in a nude/blush colour), two bags for everyday and a bag specifically for work/interviews. So no more than a total of five.

I would love to add a Chanel GST in black to my collection at some point but would have to sell a bag to do it. At one stage I had 30 bags (not all premier designer) and managed to get them down to 12, then eight, then five. I feel I can justify their cost more when I use them regularly and I just don't make enough use of each when I have too many.
