Morning all, just looking for any Clery owners out there for some input and feedback. Or even if you’re not an owner, I would still love to hear what you think.

I’m in the hunt for that “perfect” crossbody bag, not that I can find it, lol.... but at something close, and have looked at the Clery over and over again. I love the fact that it’s not a chain (I’m not overly fond of that), and also that it’s in epi leather and it’s a subtle bag, that I can also use while I’m travelling to put my things in. The only thing is the long length of it, is that a bit awkward and disproportion, or do you think it’s fine? I also like the fact that it can be used as a clutch and crossbody, or even a short shoulder bag, and that the strap is detachable and adjustable.

Also, if you are using another crossbody bag which you think may suit me better please sing out. I’m pretty much looking for a crossbody bag for errands, going to movie, dinner and date nights, and to carry essentials.

I went into store yesterday and tried the noir and denim, which were both pretty nice. I like the denim coz the LV logo is in black and it kind of stands out, but then is discrete at the same time. But then also like the black coz I don’t have any black bags yet, and it can be worn more dressed up than the denim, if you know what I mean.

Anyhow, anyone who has one that wants to input and provide feedback would be great. If you have it, how are you using it and loving it, and if you sold it, how come? For those who have it, any pros and cons? Any pics would be great as well.

I have a Clery in noir and use it a lot. I often tuck it in my Neverful MM when traveling so I have a smaller crossbody to wear to lunch, dinner, etc. If I'm carrying a Neverful to work, I will also bring along my Clery if I'm going out to lunch or dinner. I reach for my Clery more than my Pochette Metis or Favorite PM- it's the perfect size. It's classy and understated. It can fit my phone in the outside pocket, and a Victorine wallet, glasses, lipgloss, face powder, and a few other odds and ends inside. I love it and would buy it in denim if I could find one.

That sounds great. Can you post some mod shots and what fits inside? Do you find the leather is easy to look after?

I tried the Clery in store , it would be great as a clutch but for weekends/day I carry too much and with button closure and my "essentials " it keep popping open. I think if you take the minimal stuff ..it might be OK and it's very beautiful . Another option is the Eva or even Pallas BB would be nice xbody, day to night and multi carry options. I know you said your not a fan of the chain (neither am I) but the newly released surene is actually very nice too. Good luck.

I love mine. Took it on vacation and it worked wonderfully. It's not too small like a clutch or WOC but looked great for evening. The cross body style works well too. I wish it came in more colors.

I looked at this and seriously considered getting it but ultimately did not.

I liked all the same things you listed (epi, no chain, versatile, discreet, etc), but I was considering it for a travel bag and it doesn't check two of the boxes for my needs there.

1) I wanted something that fits a little more stuff for when I'm out and about all day, and this didn't even fit my slimmest sunglasses case. 2) This is nitpicky, but I wanted a hardier interior for a travel bag. LV's epi bags really aren't too weather-friendly IMO, because the interiors are still fabric. I hate having to use something from my bag while it's raining and then put it away wet in a fabric lining.

I still really like the bag.

I just got the Clery in Epi red today and it's really gorgeous. The size is great, not awkward at all. It's a tad on the smaller side for me (because I use a big wallet), but it still works and I can tell I'm going to be using this bag much more often than my others. The subtleness of the bag is nice in regards to the logo, it's just the right touch. Ultimately, I have no regrets about getting the Clery in Epi.

That’s awesome! Can you share some pics. The red one I haven’t seen on anyone. It’s been noir and denim that’s popular. Congrats!!
