Has anyone had issues such as fading, tarnishing or leather coming apart on the chain straps from their Parker or Madison bags? If so, when did that start happening?

Hi. It happened to one of my Parker bag. The brass chains discolored / tarnished. I think I had the bag for over a year and it’s little used. The Coach store was unable to repair it so they gave me a full exchange. No problems with my other Parker (gunmetal chain) though. I think mine could just be an isolated case - I have other Coach bags but never experienced tarnishing of chain straps before.
