Hi all,

I am usually in the Louis Vuitton forum and recently I purchased a Bvlgari 5 tier yellow gold from a pre-owned shop and in the inner ring, it was engraved 'made in france' and the font inside are slightly different from the usual deep engravings.

I was wondering if servicing is sent back to Italy or France and then it was re-engraved? Any experts can advise?

I've never encountered a BVLGARI jewelry item made in France...I have only seen them stamped "made in Italy" with Italian hallmarks. You might want to call the store and ask if they make any of their jewelry in France. That doesn't sound right to me.



BUT...Cartier makes many of their jewelry pieces in Italy, so it is entirely possible Bvlgari makes jewelry pieces in France, I have just never heard of it or seen Bvlgari items stamped "made in France" or with French hallmarks.

Not sure if the local boutique here would want to verify on the authenticity since its not purchased locally. I have drop an email to bvlgari to check if theres a possibility of rings made in france.
