agree with @Allisonfaye re buying brunello on sale, especially coats.

i do sometimes buy pants and bottoms at full retail bc my size/preferred color doesn’t always make it to sale. I have to figure out if I would get retail price back in cost per wear

Current season split skirts (culottes for those of us who are older). Comfortable, wearable. I like to amuse myself by thinking that if Coco chanel were alive today, she would wear stuff like this. Size 38-40. Pants and split skirts are about 1700 USD

i purchased first pair of pants; the brown culottes; and the last pic, linen, but somehow waxed to look leathery
more flattering IRL than these pics

I’ve recently gotten into BC and I’m learning very quickly that this is a very dangerous and slippery slope LOL. I feel all bagged and pursed out and have now set my sights on RTW. Particularly BC, Sacai, and Max Mara. My husband thought he was going to be able to sigh in relief now that I’ve paused on the bags but I guess not hah!

@880 it‘s so nice to see all your pieces and how it works on your body type, since I have a similar build. Please post more as it comes!

Brunello is starting presale, but there isn’t much there. I picked up a trunk show order (olive skirt in a cotton techno fabric) and skipped the beige tulle skirt and sequined shorts on sale. @DR2014, if you are interested in the beige tulle, the slip is roughly knee length. Last pic is the olive skirt and a fishnet charcoal sparkly bomber jacket with DH also in brunello pants and sneakers. DHs shirt is Turnbull & Asser, custom program
Paper bag khakis and denim shorts, leather piping

Oh my, BC is my newest favorite! I'd avoided many years due to the prices, but after buying DH a cashmere sweater we were both hooked. Love the business model, too, and want to support it. The brand fits DH better than any other...he looks like he was just molded into the clothes they fit so well. The fabric colors are divine...recently got DH what I first thought was just a "light blue" polo, but the way the fabric reflects in the light and on his skin the color literally changes. Due to our BC fixation we are now buying fewer items due to the cost, but we are being more mindful of our purchases and know they will be beautiful for a lifetime.

Please post a mod shot whenever you figure out how to style it - would love to see the tulle skirt in action!
I will do so! Thanks. But just to clarify, the tulle skirt I have is from a prior season that I bought on sale last year, so maybe already almost 2 seasons old.

No problem - you don't see a lot of Brunello in the wild so it's great to see mod shots even if it's their older pieces.

Hi all - here is my black tulle skirt, styled as suggested by @880 . I have a better tank top but it’s not here right now. I was thinking of black Castaneda wedges but they are not home either.
I tried 2 different Jean jackets and I like it both ways. Thoughts? Thanks!!

You look amazing! Perfect with both. Also good with a white ribbed muscle tank. Add converse high tops or doc martens and wear it for daytime casual  the first time I wore mine, I ripped it. The first rip was the worst. Took it to my tailor and it took him a few minutes to find the rip. Since then, I’ve relaxed and just worn it.

here is a brunello tulle and cashmere pleated skirt (First five pics are with a denim jacket and pic nine is a faux denim short leeved jacket). With early aughts Roberto cavalli Jean jacket and silver gray denim croc print jacket and other more recent denim jackets (chanel constellation and dior tie dye). Plus a dior houndstooth bomber; silk taffeta leopard bar; short sleeved faux denim techno jacket; Hermes techo moto zip jacket; chanel metallic jacket (again twins with @DR2014 as we have similar taste  ; and a brunello fishnet bomber. Wolford tank. TPM etain; barenia black 30B, brushed phw by @docride ; H metallic silver chèvre chaine d’ancre clutch (vintage); matte alligator chaine d’ancre clutch, originally shiny croc, made matte by @docride; felt picotin 18; dior around the world embroidery LD size medium
