antique glace leather

What do you think about (antique) glace leather. I've never seen or felt it in real live.

Does is become more beautifull when it ages or not?
Is it soft ?
Wich colors are the best in this material?

I had a black a/g roxy however found it a bit too rigid and heavy. Some of the black had come off to reveal a Bronze colour underneath.

I think it is more stiff and hard than darwin or nature leather
