So week 2 in the my trying to sell my dear Kelly.

Question for those who have sold their Hermés...what the best route to go? It's seems ebay works if they dont restrict you and of course if anyone bites. Consignment seems a way to go. but they seem to all want a commission of 30%.

are there any other anvenues to venture down?

any thoughts would be great.:okay:

In 2002 I was very much into collecting H scarves and I possessed just one bag (Kelly) at the time, so leather part of my H obsession was not important at all at the time, and I was a part of some H scarf forum, do not remember which. Like here there was active exchange of info, but as a separate thread they had a board where everyone could post the H scarves for offerred for sale or exchange along with contact information. I guess there are legal issues with restriction of buying-selling via TPF now, but that board was convenient for all buyers and sellers. Probably it were con artists that spoiled such a great idea.

You know...fake items make it difficult for everyone. I seethe just thinking about it.

It would have been agreat avenue for you to go down if there was one! Resellers premiums are simply far too high -Pandora for example wants 50%! Good luck is selling your kelly...

A bag/scarf exchange would be fantastic! Then you wouldn't have to live with those purchases that seemed like a good idea at the time but end up living in your closet and never seeing the light of day.
