I was in Macys tonight looking around and noticed the price of the Hamiltons has gone up again! The large Hamiltons are now $348.00, that's a $50 increase this year. I didn't see any of the small Hamiltons, so I couldn't check the price on those. This is the second price increase this year and I was kind of surprised.
On a happy note, I had to go into MK (had an issue with one of my bags) and saw the most absolutely gorgeous, stunning bag!!! It's was a large Hamilton in Grey Croc Embossed leather with silver hardware!!!!! It is sooooo beautiful! The grey is perfect (IMO), it's a medium/dark grey and with the silver hardware, I just can't say enough about it!!! Too bad I'm picking up a bag in pewter tomorrow or I would have been all over it!!!! MK sure hit a home run with this one!

Other high end brands are having price increases. It makes sense that MK would follow. It is a bummer though, and I would not pay that much for a hamilton. The quality is not up that price point IMHO. My quilted satchel is a bit fragile for my liking. I will love it and enjoy it, but I won't get another unless it is from T.J. Maxx.

I saw that slate Hamilton a couple weeks ago. The SA brought it out for me. I love it! I like the medium size though and she didn't know if they would be making it. I don't know if the price increase is just for the embossed or not. Was it also $398 for the regular leather?

Regular leather large Hamiltons are now $348.
