Another good experience at H Charlotte

And I didn't even buy anything!

I would love a Lindy, but DH does not understand high-priced bags at all, so I have been holding off for now. Even I find it hard to justify something of this sort at the moment, given the state of the economy and having two young kids with college funds and the like.

However, we wandered into the Charlotte boutique at South Park over the holidays, so I could *just show* DH a Lindy, if they had one in stock. They did, and they SAs were absolutely lovely. Showed me a display version in a purple croc, and then went through the list of currently available options, explaining to DH what some of the terms/colors meant.

The experience was friendly and down-to-earth and charming, with no uncomfortable pressure or snobbiness. (Which is the opposite of an experience I had in NYC a few years back.) I was really impressed with the boutique, and most certainly will call them/visit them when I AM ready to make a purchase.

Good service and charming staff go a long way for me. Another big thumbs up for the Charlotte boutique.

You described the feeling of the Charlotte store perfectly. When I go to Charlotte, I look forward to stopping in there, sometimes just to say hello. They act genuinely happy to see people come in, whether you buy or just admire.

And the beauty of it is there's no act to it! These are genuinely lovely sales staff who sincerely appreciate their customers. They especially love visits from we tPF lunatics because they know we truly love the brand. We truly love the company and what it stands for and not the status trip.

Besides, we Southerners are widely know for being friendly and hospitable, ya'll. :cutesy:

I love Charlotte's H! I recently placed an order over the phone and the SA was super duper helpful and answered all of my questions.

and they don't play games like other H stores...i have seen them show the same respect to out of towners as to local people. if someone is genuinely interested in the brand they will be just as likely to score a birkin or kelly as a local person. none of that "we don't have any other kelly bags in the store" business like other stores.
