Hope everyone enjoyed my Caramel Macchiato Martini. I know we sure did! I actually got to do a little presentation at a coffee tasting/pairing at my local SB showing everyone how well the coffee as well as the SB liqueur and creme liqueur goes with alcohol. Anywho. Here is my latest drink - created it in November and perfected it just recently. The Baked Apple Make this drink in a large rocks glass or Collins glass. Put a couple of ice cubes in your glass and set aside. Add 4 ounces of bourbon, 1 1/2 ounces of pear liqueur (Its with the other stuff like schnapps), and 2 ounces of apple cider to a shaker and mix vigorously. Pour over ice in glass and fill with a strong ginger beer, I recommend Stewart's. Garnish with a cinnamon stick. Tastes remarkably like a cinnamon baked apple. Enjoy! Note: I had several holiday parties at which I served apple cider from a crock pot with cinnamon sticks added. After the parties I rebottled the cider with the cinnamon sticks and the strong cinnamon flavor that had formed several days later was GREAT with this drink.
