if you were going to layer the necklaces (have more than one DBTY) do you like the idea of wearing one or two yellow gold and one platinum? or is that weird? does it look better wearing the same medal? thanks

I'm all for mixing metals so I would like the look of yg and plat/white gold. But if you think it is too much contrast you can try rose gold and yellow gold? So it's not obvious but has a nice difference in color. Also it will bring out the diamonds in my opinion

Did you sell your one smaller YG one? I know you have two other gold ones, how are you thinking of combining them? For example, someone on here wears her YG and PLAT together but I think she srands them both as one long strand, loops them around her neck and clasps. Also I personally am not great at mixing netals yet, so if I had your bigger single DBTY and your multi, I think I would want a PLAT one to sit inbetween them so it looked "patterned" and thought out. But thats just me...I'm still just testing the "mixed metals" waters. As you know, I skipped a YG DBTY because I was too afraid of mixing it (among a few other reasons) ;-) Maybe I'm not the person to answer..lol

I wore 2 thin chains together once and it was tangle-mania.

LOL! I absolutely love the idea and look of stacking dbty necklaces and really any other necklaces, I SOOOO cannot do this. I have a collossal knot within nanoseconds. I use to obsess over my not being able to wear more than one necklace at a time, slowly getting over it.......until I see someone who can:D.

Back to topic: I love mixing of metals, you gotta do what you're comfortable with though.

ya..I sold the smaller one. So right now I have the larger diamond and the 5 diamond one. Just not sure I'm loving what I got going on right now. LOL kinda thinking of selling the 5 diamond and maybe getting another bigger single diamond. then I had an idea of maybe another to add to what I got in plat. I'm not sure..just thinking!! LOL :)

3 or more gets pretty tangled. 2..not too bad to me. :)

I wish I could wear more than one necklace too. I put my necklaces on in front of the giant mirror in my bathroom and they get so tangled up before I even leave the room! Is there a secret I don't know about LOL?? I tried wearing 2 different lengths (16" and 18") but that didn't help.

I think you could - are they both Tiffany, just different metals? I wear Cartier that's mixed. Take a picture!
