This is my first time posting in the jewelry thread, but I thought I’d share what my husband bought me for our 13th wedding anniversary/40th birthday. We don’t typically do Christmas, birthday or anniversary gifts. We just put that money towards a trip or something. But he wanted to buy me something nice since my next birthday is a big one. It isn’t until April but he couldn’t stand waiting until Spring for me to pick something out, so we said we’d treat it as anniversary too since ours was Dec. 13th. Anyways, this is what I picked out! I knew I wanted something classic and timeless. I’ve always loved feather earrings, I have a sterling and turquoise pair I picked up while in Wyoming a few years ago. But when I saw these I knew they were for me. And I’m not a ring person, other than my weddding rings, I don’t wear any. But when I saw this ring I immediately new I wanted it. It’s 1.1 ct. I’m just as proud as a peacock that he saved his money to buy me these pieces. They mean so much to me and I will love them forever! Thanks for letting me share!
