I saw in another thread that Anna Wintour never carries a purse. I just watched an episode of Fashion Television. One of the features was on Anna and I swear that I saw one of her male security guards (at least he looked that big) carrying a handbag.

I wonder how much money it takes to convince a man to follow you around carrying your purse?!

my sister doesnt carry a purse she thinks she is too rock n roll for a purse HAHAHAHAH i could never walk around w/o one id feel naked even if a guard is carrying it lol.

why she has a need not to carry a bag being the editor of Vogue is interesting to

me.. Vogue has so many bag advertisers, Gucci, Chanel, LV that its interesting

that she doesn't carry a bag.. guess that's what makes for horseracing

I could never do without a purse, even if it was a small one.

I wonder the same. She wears like little biker jackets with lots of zipped pockets so i supposed she carries her id, money, and debit card in there.

I have a friend who never carried a purse. She would shove her ID and money in her pocket and clip her keys to her belt loop. I was shocked when I bumped into her after not seeing her for a while and she had a bag on her shoulder. I guess she carries one now that she has a son.
I've always had to carry a purse. To me as a child, carrying a purse was part of being a woman.

Dog waking, going to gigs, walk in the park. Just my keys and mobile-phone in my pocket.

Maybe Anna doesn't like to show 'favour' carrying one brand over another?

Well I just recently saw "The september Issue" and in that she indeed carried a purse....
Maybe it has changed since 2007??
