Anna Faris and her husband Chris Pratt have welcomed their first child together – a baby boy named Jack, her rep confirms to JustJared.com.

The 35-year-old The Dictator actress gave birth to her son earlier than expected this week.

“Anna Faris and Chris Pratt are happy to announce the birth of their beautiful baby boy Jack,” her rep said in a statement. “He arrived earlier than expected and will be spending some time in the NICU. The happy parents thank you for your warm wishes and ask that you honor their privacy during this time.”

New parents Anna Faris and Chris Pratt visit their pooches at a doggy day care center on Monday (August 27) in Reseda, Calif.

After giving the dogs a walk around the block, the 35-year-old actress and the 33-year-old actor visited their newborn son Jack at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

Anna gave birth prematurely last week and announced that her son will have to spend some time in the NICU.

“It’s a boy! Thanks for all your kind words. In lieu of gifts we ask that you mouth kiss a stranger,” Chris tweeted.
