Hi girls.

I have seen a lot of facts on google but no straight answers so if possible, I would like personal answers and opinions please. :)

Do you wear anklet?
Which ankle do you wear it on?
Why do you wear it? What do you want to show?

Thanks,
Dan

Hmm.
Firstly--naming the random junk, pulled by web search engines, "facts" seems a bit optimistic.
When I seached anklet, google pulled up "facts." Which pointed to wearers being everything from married to sinners against God to dancers. And 1 editorial questioned why people want to accentuate body's ugliest bit, the feet.

Secondly--I wear a reflective band anklet, when cycling. It means I want to be seen in traffic. Wearing on right side means I don't want pant leg caught in drivetrain chain.

Google missed safety anklet idea entirely. But had lots of gossip about sexual orientation & urban myth.

My dog wear reflective anklets when we go for walks at night. He has four ankles, very hairy. Means nothing to him or other dogs but it does look cute when he trots along and keeps him safe.

I dont know what it means but I have an anklet. Its actually a silver bracelet of my husband he gave me before we were married. It didnt fit my wrist so he put it on my ankles and its still there for 10 years now. For me, it symbolizes his love. I go to bed, shower and everything with it. Its such a sturdy silver piece he bought from the philippines. It never tarnishes because i never take it off.

I love anklets. I find they can be cumbersome depending on the shoe, as in, cause pain. I've tried every metal and they're all the same, so maybe my ankles are too bony. As long as the shoe doesn't come near the anklet I'm fine.

I find them very feminine; just an unexpected touch. There are several elderly ladies in my town that wear them, with perfectly polished toes and it's just so nice to see. I love seeing them on people of all ages. Especially the diamond cut styles, that glint beautifully.

Lol!!! Great post!!!

My 72-year old mom insists on wearing anklets UNDER HER SHEER STOCKINGS. This just kills my eyeballs every time!!! So I think worn under stockings means IDGAF.
