Does anyone have this large Anita Ko leaf ring? If so, any regrets? I think it’s a beautiful ring but I’m not sure if I’ll grow out of the style in a few years. FYI, it comes in small, medium, and large. I like the large size the best. Opinions on whether this ring is worth close to $8k? Thanks! IMG_7154.webpIMG_7156.webp

It is not my personal taste, but that’s totally subjective . If you think you might change your mind in a few years pass. If you adore it and have thought about it for a while, go for it :) If you do go for it, I agree to go for the large one :D

I’ve seen that post few yrs ago and it hasn’t deterred me as I’ve been buying few earrings from her website. she really makes very good jewelry pieces. I believe not that long ago she even won some type of award too

Agree. She made a mistake years ago and who of us hasn’t. I also have some of her pieces and the craftsmanship/quality is superb!

I can't speak to the question about value, but as for style, is there a reason why you think you would outgrow it? The first picture is on a woman with more mature hands. I don't think one can outgrow a leaf motif. Tastes do change with time, but leaf designs in jewelry go way back.

The link to the crazy and unprofessional behavior of the designer is a turn-off for me personally, but everyone is different, so that part of it is up to you.

I’ve briefly read about the Anita Ko fiasco several years ago and would like give her the benefit of the doubt that she has grown and changed from that experience. I still like her designs and don’t know her personally.

I do like the leaf design and would like to add a piece of jewelry that is less recognizable as I have collected a lot of Cartier and VCA. This piece seems like a step in the right direction but would love to know if anyone has owned this piece and how it has held up. Would love opinions on this piece too. I know my style changes so I guess it’s hard to say if I’d still like it in several years. For an example, I used to love dainty jewelry and hearts, now I don’t wear either of the two.

If you think your style is still changing, then $8K seems like a lot for one piece. Maybe find something less expensive so that if you don't like it a few years from now, you won't have spent so much money on something that will be just taking up space in your jewelry box.

I think this ring is gorgeous and, while I don’t know about the quality of the diamonds Anita Ko uses or construction, just going by sight it certainly looks worth $8K. I think the leaf motif is timeless and won’t look dated. My only hesitancy would be how often I would wear it… to me, it’s too big/blingy for an everyday piece.
