Hey ladies,

I'm currently shopping around for an everyday watch after I damaged 3 of my everyday watches in Mexico while swimming..

I'm looking for a luxury watch in silver that I can wear everyday and abuse without worrying about.. A watch that I can wear when I take my kids to the park or go swimming..

It has got to have time in it..
I like larger watches (mainly midsize ones)..

What do you recommend?

I really like my raymond weil, I also own a rolex but RW is my everyday. I tend to go with smaller watches and have the tango mini but I know they make larger models as well

^yes, budget{?}

My Tag w/ diamond bezel/markers has lasted 8+ yrs and I wear it in the ocean, pool, tennis, etc. . . I'm looking to upgrade to the Omega diamond Aqua terra soon I hope.

Kissmark and Swanky Mama of three: I'm looking for an everyday watch... So it's gotta be in stainless steel (no precious metals) so it can tolerate all the banging.. Preferably no diamonds so I won't have to worry about them falling off.. So it's going to have to be a basic model luxury watch.. I would be happy if I spent about 5-6Ks but I don't mind going as high as 10Ks if I really liked the watch..

My everyday watch is a TAG Carrera Automatic with diamond markers and bezel. It is 27mm so not large, but it is a GREAT watch. I have loved it so much that last week I bought a TAG Formula 1 glamour diamond which I think is 36mm. I love it. It is heavier than the Carrera, but that is what you get when you want the bigger case.

in that case maybe a s/s rolex datejust in the large size? It seems to fit your criterias: tough, durable, has dates, and within your budget. Or the daytona if you want to up the budget a bit :)

I wear my submariner all the time, and it's rated as a dive watch so no worries about the shower and swimming. I'd get another sporty Rolex in a heartbeat !

Raymond Weil has a number of all stainless watches that fit your criteria and are also very good looking. They come in midsize too. What you're wanting in a watch is pretty easy, I'm sure you'll find something you love.

Hey ladies... Thank you so much for all your responses...
Today I bought THE watch.. ok.. maybe it doesn't have all the stuff I asked for in a watch (eg: date) but I didn't believe my eyes when the SA walked in and came back with a S/S Daytona with a white dial..
It's kinda way above my budget but how often do you run into a S/S Daytona... I couldn't resist it..
So now I'm the proud owner of a S/S Rolex Daytona.. It might be not suitable as an everyday watch.. but who cares.. :)
I might buy a tag aquaracer for real everyday use..
