an "affair" to remember....... picture overload!!!

minkettes!!! i started collecting RM's back in september 2011. my very first RM was a gorgeous black w/ gold stud affair when i got her in the mail, i was completely floored at how gorgeous the stud detailing was and how soft and buttery the leather felt! needless to say, i've been hooked ever since!!

today was a terrific day bc my second affair arrived from a lovely and sweet fellow minkette!! (thanks G, you're the best!!! )

i know a lot of u gals were wondering about the comparison between these two so without further ado......

and now for the comparison shots and leather review!

large affair weighs as much as the smaller one bc it has a lot less studs ; i would say the leather on my regular affair is softer and smooshier; however, the stiffer leather on the large one gives it a little more structure IMO, but they both stand up on their own when unstuffed

now mod shots! i'm 5'1" for reference. for the shorties out there like me who are wondering if the size is overwhelming - not at all!! i LOVE carrying huge oversize bags so the size of this one's not too outta control. i'd have to say that i'd only wear this with the straps doubled cause when in single mode, this hits me way below the hips

thanks for letting me share ladies!! for those wanting to check out the large affair..... my honest review is that it's a great size, not too overwhelming IMO and just a gorgeous looking bag!! and one more thing.... i wouldn't totally DIE if anything got spilled on this or if the leather got scratched up (unlike another designer brand that comes to mind )

Just beautiful Cee!!! I'm really liking the large affair lately. I found my regular affair a bit to small for me, maybe I need to test out her larger sister. Both sizes look awesome on you! Congrats!!

Wow, girlie!! This is absolutely beautiful! I've never really considered an Affair because of the size (duh - I didn't realize there were two sizes!). This large looks like the perfect size and I'm loving the silver hardware...major drool factor. She's a gorgeous find, Cee!! Congrats!! (and thanks for enabling...)

Ohhhh C, you are beyond great to post these awesome awesome pictures (especially the comparison ones). I personally LOVE the large Affair (you know me, go big or go home haha). I think it gives an extra oomph!! Love the choice you made for the 2nd Affair. The silver hw defintely stands out well with the black leather!
