I have had the onyx amulette in xs for a year and a half. I love it! The design is distinctive yet understated, and it goes with everything. I wear it about 3 times a week, have slept with it on and showered with it occasionally, and it looks brand new. Look up pictures of Karlie Kloss with hers! She wears it all the time.

Thanks! There are lots of photos of it on her instagram. I was thinking of getting a vintage Alhambra necklace and now I’m leaning more towards the Amulette. It’s so gorgeous!

I have both (MOP Alhambra) and honestly prefer the Amulette. For some reason, I can wear the Amulette for days with different outfits and earrings but only wear the Alhambra with specific necklines and accessories. The Amulette seems more like a part of you, while the Alhambra stands out more...if that makes sense :P

That definitely makes sense. Thanks so much for your input!!!

I have the vintage Alhambra grey mop in rose gold and the amulette. I love both but for different reasons. I agree with beesknees2 that the amulette seems like a part of you while the Alhambra stands out more. The amulette definitely feels more modern while the Alhambra feels more classically feminine. I layer my amulette sometimes but I prefer to wear Alhambra alone. For some reason I feel that the alhambra is more recognizable and the amulette feels more understated...this could just be me though.

Both of my necklaces have held up well but I never wear them in water. I occasionally will fall asleep with a necklace on, but I wouldn’t shower with MOP.

They’re both so gorgeous it’s hard to decide!

Mine is in malachite and I love it, although I don’t wear it everyday. Malachite is a delicate material so it cannot be worn under the shower or get parfume or lotions on it.
My BF has it in onyx and never takes it off. She has it for a year and it still looks brand new after continuous usage :)
I sometimes feel like I should have gone for onyx.. Just because it is less maintenance!
Anyway, I get compliments every time I wear mine :)

I have the small Amulette in malachite and it's one of my favourite piece of jewelry. It's delicate and understated but sooo pretty ! I wear it regularly. I don't find it particularly high maintenance at all, I just put my perfume behind my ears instead of on the front of my neck so it won't touch the stone. But I never shower with my jewelry anyway.
