After hearing one forum member's experience of her Amber LV starting to come apart after 5 years (or was it 3?) I'm totally put off the line.

I've heard stories about the Ambre somewhat "melting" if left out in the sun for too long. Melt as in it'll become softer and the shape will deform. The Ambre Cabas PM I have in my collection thread is actually shared between my mom and I, but neither of us have used it much. I believe it also comes in a MM and GM size, and also a Neo Cabas.

Isn't Ambre the see through-ish collection? I think I saw it on louisvuitton.com a few weeks ago. It's pretty and I'd love to have a piece someday!

I like them pretty well.
Although at any given time between 11-2pm at the cafe outside Neimans you can see dozens of these handbags while the SA are eating their lunch!
