To start so maybe you can get a better picture; I'm in my early-mid thirties, but I'm single and I don't have children. I mostly do my own thing and my social life and hobbies mostly revolve around going to the movies, out to dinner, and going to concerts (Hanson and Niall Horan lol). I'm also plus-sized. Earlier this year, I got a small silver Return To Tiffany heart tag for a great price. I already had an extra Tiffany chain in 20" length. The thing is, I've been cautious to wear it. I've read conflicting things on whether the whole "Return To tiffany" pieces are for younger people, let alone silver pieces. At the moment, I'm eyeing the "Double Heart Tag" necklace. (No enamel.) Again, I'm cautious on whether I should purchase it or not.. Thoughts?

Personally, I think this collection screams “teenage girl” and “my first piece of jewelry.” I also find it cheap with its obvious branding.

That being said, if you love it and if you think it fits your style, then you should wear it and rock it. Clearly, you’re attracted to this collection for a reason. You’re the only person who can say whether or not this is the right choice for you.

I think you should wear whatever you want and whatever you like. You are definitely not too old.

"Let alone silver pieces", do you mean silver pieces in general or Tiffany silver? Metals doesn't have an age limit, silver is beautiful regardless of age, and about Tiffany pieces specifically, I am not super familiar with what they have in their silver line (nor in any other line for that matter) but naturally it has all to do with the aesthetics of the pieces in question, not the metal they are made in. Admittedly, the RTT necklaces has a youthful, "teenage" look to them, and whether you "can" or "cannot" wear them depends on whether you feel comfortable with that or not, and of course what look you want to achieve. I'm sure you'll look cute wearing it, but if "sophisticated" is what you are going for then chose another necklace for that day.

I’m 33 and recently purchase the mini blue enamel necklace and I love wearing it. I am very petite and look youngish for my age. I typically wear it with nice cashmere sweaters for work, which I think keeps it from looking too “teenage.” I don’t think I’d wear it with a t-shirt. I actually hated RTT when I was a teenager because everyone had them, but I enough time has passed now that I can look at it with new eyes.

I think the silver RTT necklaces and bracelets are timeless. Also, depending on where you live, they are viewed differently. If I understand correctly, a Tiffany heart charm bracelet was a very frequent 13th birthday/bat mitzvah gift in the Northeast during the 90s. I live in the Southeast and I never saw this bracelet on a teen then. So I think the view of these pieces is very culture-dependent.

I think you should suit yourself. I am 50+ and personally I love my RTT bracelet. It is a piece of beautiful quality, goes with everything, and feels just wonderful on my arm with the smooth silver links that warm up to your skin.

I hope you’ll enjoy whatever you get. :)

I think you are not too old. In my opinion the RTT collection are classic pieces.

Even the silver at tiffany is expensive for silver in my opinion you pay mostly for the brand. I don't see much younger woman wearing tiffany. I don't think much people spend so much money for there children for jewelry. When they are looking for something special it is mostly gold.
In my city woman wearing tiffany are 20+ - 30+ who wear tiffany. I know two woman 61 and 62 wearing the tiffany charm necklace in silver. I think it looks great! Even at the tv woman wearing tiffany are much older.

My teen DD has one and I did borrow it a few times. I am also plus size and did receive compliments on it. With that being stated, I think that it is a piece that is better for her age group than my mid 40's age group. I think people do like it because it is recognizably from Tiffany's. I think I have become more critical with the older I get and would prefer gold over silver. Although, still wear my Tiffany's silver.
