A little of my background, both my grandmothers loved and collected jewelry, this trait has skipped a generation and landed in me. I grew up working in a jewelry store. I love jewelry but I bore of pieces easily, especially trendy one's and I often redesign pieces. I worked on putting together a beautiful Helen Ficalora necklace, I love it but now I feel like everybody has a version of the charm necklace. I should also say I have a Tiffany's Picasso Heart(from the 70's), different from the one's you see now, that I wear on a chain with other charms. Back to my HF I have 2 yellow and 2 rose gold charms that I feel if I put on my Gold charm bracelet it would give it a very finished look and I would wear it more often. I got a 20" dbty rose gold HF chain for the charms but I've been wearing a large white gold pave tear drop on it. My question, am I breaking up on HF necklace too soon? I can always take the charms off my bracelet if I want to but quite frankly I do this kind of thing often and costs are starting to add up. Not really a factor, but it is money and time and i'm really on the fence. I did put the charms on a yellow/white gold Chan Luu chain and that looked nice too. What to do?? I wear 2 16" duty's everyday, one WG and one YG. What would you do? Put the charms on charm bracelet or leave them loose to wear as a necklace still? Thanks for any help!
