I just got in this Parker from Nordstrom and upon inspection the top flap seems to have almost a pinkish hue about it. I took the bag into bright light and it seems completely different color. Do you think so?

In the picture, the flap and the body of the back (except the pocket) have a pink tint.
There is a slight difference in hue from the top and bottom flap. I also noticed variations in store with the Chalk color on the quilted Parkers. It is the reason I was hesitant to buy any more "Chalk" bags from Coach. For some reason, this paint really discolors rather quickly and is susceptible to the oddest of changes. My Chalk bag after 2.5 years is slightly more yellow than when I originally purchased it. The Chalk bag I saw on display wasn't really true white either.
It's possible your leather has already picked up color from something else or it is a natural variation in their "Chalk" color. I'd buy another bag in Chalk to be sure, but you still have to live with the fact that you need to protect this white color viciously because it will discolor if exposed for too long to something that could stain it (i.e. your clothing, a car seat, etc.).

I don't think the chalk has picked up any color, I think the bag is meant to be the two different colors.
But wouldn't they have labeled the bag Chalk/Multi if it were meant to be 2 different colors? It just seems odd, as the other Chalk bags revealed here and online don't show 2-toned-ness.
I saw this bag in the boutique in Caesars Forum Shops in Las Vegas and it definitely was not two toned. I’m so upset. I was sooo looking forward to this bag.
I have a chalk Edie from a couple of summers ago, and it held up well. I’d be ok with it not being true white, because to me, chalk is off white, but this looks like two whole different colors.
I’m undecided if I want to return for the pink, which is a color I don’t have in my color or just wait till spring style drop next week.
