I am overwhelmed reading and searching trying to find a good alternative, so I’m wondering if anyone can give me some leads! Looking for something similar in size/shape/function to Cassie/PM. Must have:
  • Leather (grained/some texture, no smooth leather)
  • Crossbody strap (no chain, removable)
  • Top handle
  • Back pocket
  • No obvious logos or massive hardware
Thanks in advance for any ideas!

Yes, you can. That’s the beauty of Massaccesi, you can customize to your heart’s content. Adding a back pocket, making the strap wider or longer, tons of leather choices….. there are so many changes that can be made.

I hope I linked this correctly, but if you like the PS1, you may also like the Massaccesi Little Valerie. You can get it with the standard working straps and buckles are as a lift flap where the strap and buckle is just for the looks. Not 100% sure, but I think You can also choose to omit the little studs on the horizontal straps.

Massaccesi Handbags

I am looking for almost the exact same handbag. I have a Coach Cassie that I love but it’s pretty worn now and I need to replace it with something soon. The closest I have found other than the Pochette Metis (out of my budget) is the Massaccesi Ecate but just saw that the store is now closed. Strange that this specific bag style seems so difficult to find.

Sorry I missed this! Thanks again to you and everyone for your help, I did end up ordering an Ecate when I heard Massaccessi was closing shop. Trying very hard to wait patiently now and not buy one of the other options here in the meantime :lol:

Right?? I was genuinely floored at the lack of bags that combine all these specs. Ecate is the one I landed on out of luck that I decided before closure. Still keeping an eye out for options, I was specifically looking for black with this one, but would like to get some other colors in a similar style.

I am also looking for black. Ideally pebble leather as well. If I ever find anything, I’ll be sure to report my findings here.

I went into it expecting it would be Asti, since I was just going for a black that wouldn’t show scratches too easily and it seemed to fit the bill. But then he mentioned he still had some black deerskin and it was over :lol: very much looking forward to seeing how it turns out.
